What is the Network+ (N10-009)
The Network+, is a computer networking certification from CompTIA.

The CompTIA Network+ (N10-009) Exam
To achieve the Network+ certification you must sit the N10-009 exam. The exam is 90 minutes long, consisting of both Multiple-Choice and "Performance-Based" style questions. You will have a maximum of 90 questions of which 1-10 will be Performance-Based Questions(PBQs) and the rest will be Multiple Choice. However, you will usually only have around 4-5 PBQs.
Your result is based on the number of points that you gain from answering questions correctly. The passing score is 720 out of a possible 100-900 points, however CompTIA does not disclose the specifics of how their scoring works. It is generally accepted that the PBQ's will score more points than Multiple Choice questions as they take longer and are harder to answer.
